Welcome to ConvertSnap. We respect your privacy and are committed to protecting it. This Privacy Policy explains how our service operates and how your data is handled.

2. How Your Files Are Processed

Unlike many other online services, ConvertSnap processes almost all files entirely locally within your web browser. For those tools, your files are never uploaded to our servers. There are two exceptions today. The Image-to-Excel tool (/excel-tools/image-to-excel) uses optical character recognition that isn't yet possible in a browser, so your image is sent to our OCR sub-processor, OCR.space, for processing; OCR.space states that uploaded files are deleted after processing and not retained. Separately, HEIC/HEIF images are currently decoded on our server because browser support isn't yet reliable — we are moving this into the browser and will update this page when we do. No other file, from any other tool, is sent anywhere.

3. Data Collection

We do not collect any personal data or images. We may use anonymous analytics tools (such as Google Analytics) to understand how visitors use our website. This data is strictly aggregated and contains no personally identifiable information.

4. Cookies

We may use cookies to improve your experience (for instance, to remember your dark/light theme preference). You can choose to disable cookies through your browser settings.
